The framework of the project "Other in teaching contents for the higher education" involved questioners for the 266 students from the two Universities in Republic of Macedonia. The aims of the research are : to discover the overall picture for the involvement of "Other" in the teaching contents for the Higher Education and life of the university in general. To collect data for the communication, cooperation and intercultural tolerance of the students and teaching staff inside and outside the universities. To discover what ways of work for the "Other" were used in the period from 1995-2001 and which ones were popular for the students. To foresee what should be done in order to study different aspects of "Other" and its presentation in the higher education and life itself. Hypothesis : It is expected that the students would not show high level for cooperation with "Other" (all is due to the war and actual situation in the country.) The questioner was conducted in December 2001. According to the collected data from the questionnaires, painted rich sources concerning problems of "Others". Above mentioned hypothesis was not confirmed because several of the students answered that they would like to cooperate with "others". The questioner show the following results : Students have moderate attitude concerning teaching contents for "Others", Students are willing to cooperate with "Others" outside the university, Students individually are involved in finding literature concerning the issue of "other" with the aim to have overall picture, Students levelled the aspects and characteristic of "Others" (historical, cultural social, traditional, language, educational religious, ideological, etc.) The values of "Others" ethnical group must be taken into the wider cultural and civilisational context, Students show interests for Balkans, Mediterranean, and European studies, Students are involved in different activities for "Others" like seminars, seminar papers, essays, field trips, graduation works, etc.) Students make a request for training competent teaching staff on the issue of "Others". Data for intolerance (Macedonians towards Albanians and vice versa) 109 Macedonians students express intolerance, (50 % of them explain that the intolerance is due to the way in the country). students emphasize preferred way of collaboration with "Others"
